Scope:
Part of Naperville’s “Downtown: Progress in Progress” initiative, this project aimed to modernize infrastructure and enhance the pedestrian experience.
Key Work / Improvements:
- Roadway & Parking: Full reconstruction and reconfiguration
- Utilities: Installation of new utility lines
- Streetscape: Wider sidewalks and pedestrian zones, new street furniture and lighting, more trees, plantings, and outdoor business spaces
- Accessibility: Upgrades to meet ADA standards
- Traffic & Business Access: Phased construction with maintained pedestrian access to businesses throughout
